DESCRIPTION:Master Teacher Susan Sinclair returns to Houston for a one day only workshop working with people who have had experience with the Alexander Technique. If you have had the chance to work with Susan before you will know that she has a terrific understanding of Alexander’s work and can help us find our best use while having fun doing it. \nFee: $150 before September 1st  At the door: $175 \nSusan Sinclair is the owner and director of Sinclair Studio in Toronto\, Canada. She has been a teacher of the Alexander Technique for 26 years and of the Pilates Method for 30 years. Susan has directed the Sinclair Studio Alexander Technique Training Program since 2003 and has trained Pilates Method teachers since 1994. Susan certified with Bruce and Martha Fertman of the Alexander Foundation in Philadelphia\, and is a certified Teaching and Sponsoring Member of Alexander Technique International. \nSusan graduated from the dance programs at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and the School of the Toronto Dance Theatre. She apprenticed as a teacher of the Pilates Method with Moira Stott of Stott Studio\, Toronto and with Karen Carlson in Philadelphia. Susan’s work has been influenced by her studies in improvisation\, Contact Improvisation\, Tai Chi\, Aikido\, Developmental Movement and the Feldenkrais Method. \nSusan is on faculty at the Alexander Alliance\, Tokyo and the Houston School for the Alexander Technique and has taught in training programs for the Alexander Alliance in Philadelphia\, Kyoto and Krefeld\, Germany. She has presented her work at the 8th and 9th International Congresses of the Alexander Technique in Lugano\, Switzerland and at Conferences of Alexander Technique International around the world.
